Steve has worked for QEC for over 25 years. He has been in the construction industry for his entire life: QEC’s owner Jesse Esquivel actually worked as Steve’s father’s apprentice. Before a project begins, Steve reviews the details with the Project Managers to ensure all safety requirements are firmly in place and that QEC has the most qualified crew assigned. Steve also oversees, trains and supports the next generation of union ironworkers affiliated with QEC.

In his recreational time, Steve is the current President of OTHG (Over the Hill Gang), a local motocross racing enthusiast group. He also enjoys water skiing and mountain biking.
