What kind of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs) does QEC erect?

We erect everything from pre-engineered metal canopies to pre-engineered metal aircraft hangars and everything in between. With the backing of the union, we are able to conquer any size PEMB.

If QEC runs into a design build or one-off building, how does your team conquer that?

With the expertise of our experienced project managers and superintendent, an erection plan is derived through a very thorough planning process that draws on over 50 years of experience in the field. No PEMB design is too challenging or too farfetched for QEC to conquer.

I am looking at purchasing a PEMB for my company’s use; can QEC help me?

QEC would be glad to supply a PEMB furnish and install package but we do not offer complete turnkey services. With that said, we have been in the construction industry for over 30 years. We have access to several general contractors whose integrity have earned QEC’s trust and with whom we have established a long-lasting working relationship. When teamed up with them, we can help get you on the right track towards a complete turnkey package.

What are the benefits of QEC being part of the Ironworkers Union?

QEC has been union since day one back in 1982 and has been building lasting relationships with union members ever since. With the ability to hire experienced Ironworkers who have all finished 4 years in the apprenticeship school out of the union hall, QEC will never lack the skilled craftsmanship or manpower to get your job done on time.

I have a PEMB I need erected and it’s not one listed on your website. Can you still help me?

Yes. Before QEC ever sold a PEMB we only erected them. These days we have become more of a one-stop shop for your PEMB needs. We pride ourselves on offering our clientele choices but we still stick to what we are good at-building metal buildings-and would be glad to erect any manufacturer’s building for you.
