Ethan has been a part of the extended QEC family for decades: his father Steve is Executive Superintendent. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Project Management at Chico State Ethan was hired as an Estimator and Project Manager and hasn’t looked back since. In this role, he works closely with Senior Project Manager Bruce Cox on cost estimating, cost studies on alternative materials/methods of construction, value engineering and developing bid packages.

Starting his professional career at QEC, Ethan has shown his willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty through really getting involved in anything that requires his attention. He enjoys the process of taking the owner’s and architect’s vision for a project and turning it into reality.

Outside of his career responsibilities, Ethan is an Eagle Scout and a volunteer with the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy. He is passionate about adrenaline-pumping activities, including motocross and cycling.
