About / Staff / Ethan Law
Ethan has been a part of the extended QEC family for decades: his father Steve is Executive Superintendent. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Project Management at Chico State Ethan was hired as an Estimator and Project Manager and hasn’t looked back since. In his role as now Lead Estimator / Project Manager he works closely with his team on compiling competitive cost estimates, cost studies on alternative materials/methods of construction, value engineering and developing bid packages.
Starting his professional career at QEC, Ethan has shown his willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty through really getting involved in anything that requires his attention. He enjoys the process of taking the owner’s and architect’s vision for a project and turning it into reality. He has been working around metal buildings since he was about 12 years old, so you could say he has it in his blood a bit by now and that he truly enjoys his job.
Outside of his career responsibilities, Ethan is an Eagle Scout and a volunteer with the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy. He is passionate about adrenaline-pumping activities, including motocross and cycling.
