In 1995, Joy joined QEC as an auditor and staff consultant, helping QEC to hire qualified personnel for their administrative departments. Since 2004, Joy has served as Vice President of Finance & Operations, where she oversaw the daily operations of the accounting, financial, legal and insurance departments. Joy has been instrumental in QEC’s change and growth, taking on responsibilities such as implementing new construction software. She is always on the lookout for better and safer ways to accomplish QEC’s daily and long-term goals.
In May 2017, Joy initiated her transition to semi-retirement and is helping AJ (now Vice President of Finance and Operations) adjust to the day to day operations of QEC. Joy will continue to be active with QEC, guiding customer relations and economic growth.
In her free time Joy likes to travel, especially when it involves warm water and sunshine. She and her husband are proud supporters of Wounded Warrior and Hope for Paws Animal Rescue. Joy also serves as a mentor to young adult women leaving the foster care system.
