As the son of a union Ironworker, it has always been important to J. Michael to become part of QEC’s legacy. After serving in the United States Navy as an airman attached to helicopter squadron HELANTISUBRON 6 aka "HS-6 Indians". J. Michael began working at QEC in the shop. He transitioned to the field, completed training as a Journeyman Ironworker, started estimating back in 2002, and now runs the business as the President. J. Michael takes pride in seeing the results of a finished project and is known for resolving issues quickly. He has come up through the ranks and loves seeing the company he helped build over the years thrive.
J. Michael is the proud father of a young son who he enjoys coaching on his sports teams and supporting his athletic and academic growth. He is a long-time sponsor for Children International. He is also a die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan.
