Chris McKiernan
Lead Foreman
(707) 746-1233 | Email

Chris McKiernan joined the ironworker apprentice program over 23 years ago. During his first years as a union apprentice he heard great things about QEC and its owner Jesse Esquivel. Chris respected that fact that Jesse was also a union worker who started as a first period apprentice and worked his way up. When the opportunity came available to work for Jesse at QEC Chris jumped at it.

Chris has been with QEC for most of his career, moving up through the ranks. He is someone who truly listens to his crew. As QEC’s top Foreman, Chris is respected for anticipating project needs and always keeping a step ahead. Chris has excellent communication with the estimators and general contractors, and also reminds his crew that, “Yes, we are our brothers’ keepers – we all go home safe.”

When time and weather permits, Chris enjoys golfing, gardening and classic auto shows. He is the proud owner of a 1964-½ Mustang.
