UC Davis Central Cage Wash
The UC Davis(UCD) Central Cage Wash Facility was a design Build project taken on by QEC with its trusted partners. The facility was provided to the Teaching and Research Animal Care Services(TRACS) Team at UCD to help facilitate the future growth of the animal care and research program as the campuses resources expand in the future. This facility was right on the main part of campus at UCD and as such it really need to be a higher profile type of PEMB design and we think that between all parties involved collectively as a design build team that we knocked it out of the park. In the end the proejct also achieved a LEED Gold status as well. Link here to USGBC Gold Page.
QEC scope of work on this one included the design/supply/install of the PEMB, all cladding, the misc. steel ground fence, roof screen, all skylights and all misc. metal items throughout. Thanks to Airco Mech and DPR for the partnership on this one!
