Genentech Lower Campus Food Service (SSF)

Genentech approached the experienced team at Perkins+Will to bring their vision for an exquisite kitchen-by-the-bay to life, and they knocked it out of the park. We here at Quality Erectors & Construction (QEC) handle many design builds and we can definitely appreciate the time that was put into the design for the amount of coordination required on this one. QEC brought to the table many years of design build experience and we were able to work as a design partner to Perkins + Will to deliver this cutting edge design for the Genentech South San Francisco Lower Campus Food Service project. 

The project was fast tracked for immediate inclusion on the Genentech campus and with our team knowing this, the project schedule was honored by QEC to the greatest extent possible. When it was all said and done our team was able to shave weeks off of our install time due to the planning of our project management team on the front end to tie it all together in the field and coordinate the numerous systems that interacted with our provided metal building components. Our team saw our share of struggles delivering this one-off building, but in the end QEC delivered on our target project dates and we were able to deliver what we think to be a beautiful example of what a metal building system can be. This project is a class act and an exemplary demonstration of our team's mission to provide dynamic solutions to our clients.
