Solano County SB1022 Classroom and Vocational Training Center
The Solano County SB1022 Rourk Vocational Training Center is a very well-designed facility used for introducing inmates back into the workforce through different program rehabilitation. The facility opened in 2019 and serves the County of Solano with both a dedicated classroom building and a maintenance bldg. for much more blue-collar type of instructional learning. The design and execution of the project led the facility to earn awards with the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) in the Education and Rec Category. Link Here.
The building assemblies were a challenging one for the team at the time as this was the first carrier panel type project the team carried out and it proved to be a huge time saver on the project, adding to a quicker building enclosure for the general contractor and a great weatherproofing system in general. QEC was proud to be a part of this project and help take the industry even further by continuing to push the envelope of Pre-Engineered Metal Building(PEMB) designs.
