Foreman
(707) 746-1233 | Email

Charles (Mac) joined the team in 2007 as a 1st Period Apprentice. QEC sponsored him into the Union Ironworker Program, where Mac completed all 8 levels of apprentice training and proudly became a Journeyman Ironworker. Under the tutelage of Steve Law (QEC’s Superintendent) and the seasoned foremen at QEC, there was no doubt that Mac was QEC Foreman material. Mac particularly enjoys coordinating communication among the many team members of a project. He compares seeing steel rising to a well-orchestrated dance: “every movement is timed to the split second and is amazing to watch.” From QEC project managers and staff to subcontractors, Mac works with everyone to plan ahead and ensure a clean, safe working environment from project start to finish. When he is not overseeing a project, Mac spends time with his wife and children in the great outdoors. They enjoy camping, raising their own food and supporting the Boy Scouts of America.
